with functions designed to assist residents, visitors and local government
agencies.

PROGRAM responsible for maintaining a county-wide fully
enhanced emergency telephone number system

MANAGEMENT PROGRAM responsible for planning and response
to large scale emergency and disasters

EMERGENCY
MEDICAL SERVICES PROGRAM responsible for providing advanced
life support pre-hospital emergency and primary health care utilizing
both ground and air ambulance support

TELECOMMUNICATIONS
PROGRAM encompassing a county-wide emergency radio system
and dispatch center that handles requests for fire, emergency
medical and emergency management assistance as well as various
county departments after hours
Program Manager, Telecommunications: Bruce Dennington .
Additionally, this division
furnishes fire protection services to dependent fire districts, administers
an 800 MHz communications system for Lee County government operations
and local municipalities, and administers the distribution of fire
and EMS impact fee monies to independent fire districts and EMS agencies.
